Finally you're here: Venice! You had already heard so much about it and your expectations have been exceeded once you are on the quay, near St. Mark's Square. It is not as busy as in previous years. You enjoy the tranquility, you sniff the salty scent, a small breeze plays with your hair. A few gondolas are patiently bobbing along. No customers, but it's good like this. You gaze across to the beautiful Chiesa di San Giorgio Maggiore. Wow! You are eager to admire everything.
